Submit your professional credentials and coverage plan first. Approved applicants receive a private link to request an interview time. Interview subjects, timing and location remain subject to individual availability and written confirmation.

Who should apply
Working media and editorial creators
Print, digital, trade, broadcast, radio, podcasts, photography, video, newsletters, wire services and established editorial social channels are welcome to apply. Freelancers should be on assignment or provide clear commissioning/editor information.
Important distinction
Independent programme accreditation
This request is only for Film Festival Connect-produced opportunities. It is not TIFF accreditation and does not provide access to TIFF screenings, red carpets, venues, talent or third-party events. No access or interview is guaranteed.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Submit one application per person and allow up to three business days where possible.

Coverage and interview standards
Accreditation is individual
Every journalist, photographer, producer or crew member who requires access should submit a separate application with a unique email address.
Questions are reviewed in advance
Proposed questions or themes are screened for relevance, safety, confidentiality and timing. Clarification may be requested before an interview is confirmed.
Approval is not access
An acknowledgement or approval does not guarantee a specific person, event, location or time. Only the final written appointment confirms an interview.
Respect onsite direction
Approved media must follow venue rules, staff direction, recording restrictions, published embargoes and the Film Festival Connect code of conduct.
